Short version: we collect as little as possible, run no ad trackers, and never sell your data.
This website
The site is static, served by Cloudflare. We add no analytics and no advertising cookies. Cloudflare processes standard server logs (e.g. IP address) to deliver and protect the site.
Buying a plugin
Checkout is handled by our Merchant of Record, Polar. They collect your email, payment details and the country/tax info needed for the sale, and act as data controller for that. See Polar's privacy policy. We receive only the order and licence information needed to support you.
The plugin & licensing
When you activate a licence, the plugin sends your licence key and a salted, hashed fingerprint of your machine to Polar's licensing API to bind the activation (this enforces the three-machine limit). The fingerprint is a one-way hash, it is not your name, and it is not used to track you. A small licence token is then stored locally on your machine so the plugin works offline. The plugin contains no analytics and phones home only at activation.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. For purchase data contact Polar; for anything else email us. We keep data only as long as needed for support, accounting and legal obligations.
